Dr. Lynn Hellerstein
Dr. Hellerstein, a fellow of College of Optometrist in Vision Development and the American Academy of Optometry, graduated with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1977. Currently in private optometric practice, with an emphasis in behavioral optometry/vision therapy, Dr. Hellerstein works extensively with children and adults who have difficulties in learning or vision perception, physical/mental deficits and/or brain injuries. An adjunct professor at Illinois College of Optometry and Pacific University College of Optometry, Dr. Hellerstein is a frequent lecturer and consultant to educational, rehabilitation, therapy providers, sports teams and other eye care professionals. Dr. Hellerstein has published extensively in medical and optometric literature, in addition to her award winning book, See It. Say It. Do It!- A Parent’s & Teacher’s Action Guide to Creating Successful Student’s and Confident Kids.
An avid lover of sports, she enjoys yoga, racquetball and hiking. The Hellerstein Family are the founders and curators of “National Ballpark Museum“, a non-profit sports museum honoring the love and passion of the game of baseball.
